Yoga is a 5000 year old-Indian philosophy that combines exercise, breathing, relaxation and meditation. Yoga is combination of physical and mental disciplines which makes the body stronger and healthier and also makes mind calm and more controlled helping towards self- realisation.
Yoga is not only good for your posture and structural balance but it promotes flexibility, strength and stamina, tone the internal organs, Improve concentration, teaches you how to breath more effectively, facilitates relaxation and calms the mind. You should not expect immediate results as yoga is a gradual, progressive process.
In our school we mainly focus on pranayama and different types of Asanas for students. We practice yoga twice a week in our school.It is really beneficial for the future of the students. Yoga provides relief from the stress of studies and helps improve their concentration in studies.
